There is a music minister who flat out says she doesn’t believe in all the teachings of the Church (e.g., purgatory, abortion). She also goes back and forth from a Catholic church to a Protestant church. Should she be asked to step down?

If the music minister is giving scandal to the parish by publicizing her support for abortion and making known to all that she is also a member of a Protestant church, then that should be brought to the attention of the pastor for his evaluation. If she is merely making private comments to personal friends and is providing music services at a Protestant church, then she may be acting imprudently, but her actions do not appear to rise to the level of public notoreity.
