Should my friend read the book The DaVinci Code?

I have a friend whose daughter gave her the book the DaVinci Code. My friend has not heard any of the controversy surrounding this book and her daughter is not aware of the Catholic implications that the book makes.
Should my friend continue to read the book or throw it away, or should she read it with an open mind?

Instead of recommending your friend trash the book or worse yet, read it with an open mind, I suggest you read it with her and then discuss it. That way you can expose Brown’s falsehoods and misleading statements before they have a chance to take root in her heart. And think of all the evangelistic opportunities you’ll have!
