I have a question. I came across the link above some time ago (see link below)
My question is: don’t the parents of a child have to promise that they will raise the child in catholic doctrines and morals in order to get their children baptized in a catholic church?
How could this priest presume they will do it, when they are living in mortal sin themselves, so publicaly and actually celebrating it in the national media?
Do things like this happen here in the States too? Please clarify, I am a revert (5 years ago) and am still learning the ins and outs.
