Should pro-life demonstrators display pictures of aborted children?

Recently I was approached on the street by a group of people brandishing large pictures of aborted fetuses. I’ve done some research and am writing a piece on the encounter. I am not a religious person, but am a supporter of the pro-life movement and have always appreciated the Catholic Church’s unwavering and humble stance on the matter. This particular campaign, however, seems counterproductive to the logical and sturdy resistance I have witnessed in groups such as the Knights of Columbus. Is the Catholic Church affiliated in any manner with the Pro-Life Action League?

For information on the status of the Pro-Life Action League, I recommend contacting the diocese in which it is located, which is the Archdiocese of Chicago (Illinois).

The tactic of displaying images of aborted children is controversial within the pro-life movement. Not all pro-lifers, regardless of their religious affiliation, agree that doing so is prudent. For more information, please see the link below.
