Should Teenage Girls be taught Fertility Awareness/NFP as part of sex education?

Well, if it was taught in public schools, people like Jason Evert or SL&C can come in and give a “seminar” during lunch or during an assembly. I know that this is a hard thing to teach anywhere becasue of thelack of truly Catholic thoughts on the matter.

Jason Evert has been a guest numerous times at some of the area Public High Schools—including the one that my husband teaches at. He (Jason Evert) gets extrememly enthusiastic responses from the kids and has changed a few lives in the process.
In many states, including my own, a parent may OPT out their child from reproductive health for any reason. Sex ed is limited to a set time in the curriculum during 5th, 7th, and 10th grades. Parents are notified well in advance and are invited to view the entire curriculum before deciding whether to opt their kids out or not.
I know the above OPT out option is not available in all states, but from what I understand, the vast majority of states do have the option.
