Should "The Greatest American Hero" be brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Well, phil19034, are you scared that a big-screen adaptation of The Greatest American Hero would do injustice to the legacy of the TV series? A pilot for a small-screen reboot was considered by ABC last year, but it didn’t make the grade.
I’m not scared of anything, I just think what you are proposing is not realistic and there would be no way Marvel would bring in a character that’s not theirs when they have hundreds of characters they haven’t used yet.

God Bless

Praise the Lord!

The movie plot will likely stink but hopefully it’ll look better…

I hope they’re going to put enough clothes on the female characters that we don’t have to have another Sonic the Hedgehog “modesty” discussion about anthropomorphic cartoon/ CGI animals.

By that logic, they could have an X-Men prequel where Professor X is serving at the 4077th alongside Hawkeye Pierce.

(Heaven help me, I actually LIKE that idea. To the Fanfic forums!)

You mean the “believe it or not, I’m walkin on air” dude?

I think his names was Joey Scarbury, or something like that.

Any show with William Katt, Robert Culp, Connie Selleca, and a young Faye Grant who I loved as Juliet Parish on “V” is fine by me.

Nobody that watched the travesty that was Captain Marvel would answer ‘yes’ to that question. I thought the Disney/Rian Johnson combo had ruined The Last Jedi but then the Disney/MCU combo was like, ‘Hold my beer,’ and brought Brie Larson in to the mix.

No offense, Dr_Meinheimer, but Faye Grant used to be married to Stephen Collins. It’s my understanding that Ms. Grant leaked out the recording in which Mr. Collins admitted to being a child molester.

No offense taken; I had nothing to do with his disgusting proclivities, nor did I have a hand in helping Marc Singer defeat the Visitors.

Yeah, she was. He was great as Commander Decker in Star Trek 1 (the movie). No idea if she leaked the audio, but the guy had a disgusting past to be sure. Very sad.
