[clueless guy says]: “Whoa… that’s weird because I think I learned something in my religious studies 101 class about some jewish dude who lived like around the year 30 or something. He told everyone he was God’s son and stuff, and that he would save his people from hell… but that ticked them off and they killed him for it!! Makes you wonder eh?” :hmmm:

Yeah, and He said he would destory the Temple. Must have just been a coincidence. 😉

I agree Kitty we can’t really be sure on how it’ll all go down point by point (much less when) But I do think we can have at least a general idea. I do believe there will one day be a temple in Jerusalem but it will be for Antichrist since he will deny Christ existed and then claim to be (and accepted by many as) the “real” Messiah he may use the building of the temple to convince people of this.
Hey Starrs thanks and what you say after is right on.

I have a link here

lttn.org/R3_Article3_JewishViewOfMessiah.htm

I favorited it because its so, well, chilling actually, not what one would think. 😦 the thread may like to read this.

Kitty Chan,

I don’t think the left behind theories are even remotely close. Jesus will return once and the Rapture will happen, along with the Final Judgment, as parts of the final events of history.

The Catholic Churches (along with the Orthodox Churches) are the only Churches to continue offering a daily re-presentation of Jesus’ once-for-all sacrifice. It makes sense to me that the sacrilege would have to happen where God is Present.
To be clear while I really enjoyed the books, I still think their greatest effect on people (I cant think how else to explain it) is that they got people interested and exicted about end times and more importantly God. My friend fought her local school board in a small town for prayer and won, because she was so inspired by the books.

I still like your idea of the sacrilege (dont like the sacrilege) it fits. Its all like a puzzle, and one can so look forward to the day we see all the pieces fit together. My personal thought of Heaven is we will spend quite a bit of time saying really? wow? didnt know? really, wow, , didnt know 😃 its gonna be great

Look who the anti-christ is to muslims  It seems muslims will keep following the anti-christ :

Isa (Jesus) in the Hadith…

‘Isa the destroyer of Christianity…

Obviously, this is the anti-christ.
Ya know I was wondering if the muslims had a “messiah” they were looking to so this is him??

Check out my link Jewish view of Jesus and put it with what you posted and see if the chills dont come.

All Im realizing is we really need each other, I think we all have something to bring to the table. Maybe this will be a bond between us all later. 🙂

The strong presence of the US troops in the region (Iraq, Afghanistan) created the best conditions ever to destroy the Aqsa Mosque while the Muslims nations could do nothing to prevent it; the US army would serve as a shield to keep at bay anyone wanting to defend the Aqsa Mosque.
Uh, did anyone ask the US army? Do you think Americans want to see their sons killed over something so trivial and insane? We’re too engaged in this feud as it is.

No, the Muslim’s should keep their Holy Mosque exactly where it is…

We’re not a theocracy, we aren’t going to start WWIII over a Jewish Temple. We aren’t insane.

Salaam evryone;
I am glad to hear that our Catholic Brethren would not support the destruction of the Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock in order to build the third temple on its place.

Salaam and thanks to all those who participated.
Joseph.
