Of course they know it’s wrong before unless you are doubting Romans 2:15.
They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness and their conflicting thoughts accuse or perhaps excuse them

Are you talking about women who have had abortions, or just anybody?
Also your stats say they regret their abortion 8 weeks after the procedure, and that they then know it was wrong. However your implying beforehand regretfulness of it being wrong.

Do not be so foolish as to question another Catholic on their belief in Scripture when you have no cause to do so.

The United States was not founded on Christianity, it was founded on Freemasonry. The vast number of signers of the Declaration of Independence and framers of the constitution were Freemasons. Among the most famous, George Washington and Benjamin Franklin. Freemasonry among the United States’ founders played a major role in the American Revolution. The Freemasons were the ones who really helped organize and drum up support for the American Revolution. And later they supported the French Revolution which destroyed Catholicism in France.

Let us also not forget Freemasonry is a fraternity inherently and aggressively opposed to Catholicism. Freemasons are famous for funding and supporting anti-Catholic revolutions and revolts throughout the world. Why do you think several popes in the past have condemned Freemasonry?

It would take a revolution if you wanted the United States to become a Catholic nation. The secular laws of the United States have their roots in Freemasonry - wanting to build a fraternity, but one that takes out Christ and is instead centered on man.

and abortion and homosexuality being imposed on people.
Would you please point me to the sources?

If our government is imposing abortion on women, we need to have that investigated and ended today! That is a serious crime. Where is this happening in our country!!!???!!!

And, maybe I am naive, however, I cannot see how the government can impose sexual identity on anyone. Are there some studies or reasons for imposing homosexuality on anyone? The closest thing I can think of is military service and they have reversed even the open expression of homosexuality. I’m anxious to learn where and what form this imposition takes.

I think it is obvious what I meant. Those gross immoralities were made into sacred, secular rights. And actually with homosexuality now everyone has to approve of it. If you don’t you are undermining the human dignity and rights of homosexuals. There are laws that enforce that like heresy laws of old.

KInd of like the Church’s teachings that “They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided.”

No, not at all like it. The secular law says that if you don’t think homosexual acts are good you are destroying human dignity. The Church is saying homosexuals have human dignity in spite of their homosexual inclinations.

I am always willing to learn, would you give me the links to this secular law? I want to understand it.

Go look up the Supreme Court decisions regarding homosexuality. Also there are plenty of state laws to this effect.

I don’t understand, in an serious debate the person making a claim should be able to provide documentation when asked. Do you not have a specific law in mind?

We become a Christian nation the moment we all start behaving as Christians. Don’t hold your breath for our president, judges, or members of Congress to change. It starts from the ground and moves up.

Editing to add: That’s precisely the example that Christ set for us in the Gospels. Notice that he never pulled on Ceasar’s sleeve, demanding that the Roman Empire become Christian.

“Sacred,” and “secular” don’t go together. They are mutually exclusive.

Will step out of this conversation.

These links are to commentary about various SCOTUS decisions, not to the actual decisions and laws.

So you ask for evidence, and then when presented with it don’t like it? You can see from the second link exactly what I said is true. According to the Supreme Court:
They (homosexuals) ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right.
The right in question is the right marry someone of the same sex. Supreme Court decisions are law. Maybe you are unaware but there was a recent case of a baker who was fined by his state for not baking a cake celebrating same sex marriage. That is also a law.

They (homosexuals) ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right.
Equal dignity in the eyes of God is truth. Why should the law not reflect this?
