Should we ever confess dreamt sins?

Is it ever necessary to confess a sin committed in a dream?

For example, if you’re dreaming, and in the dream you make a conscious choice to do something you know is gravely sinful, is that essentially the same as committing the sin?

Obviously we have little to no control over what we dream (and some of us have pretty crazy dreams), but are we responsible for what we do in dreams, or does that state of consciousness remove culpability?

Dear v,

No we are not responsible for our dreams. Sometimes one can wake up and then determine that we want to continue with the dream we had been dreaming. Even though sometimes we can re-engage the dream, it always changes and once we are asleep we have no control over where the dream is going even if we think we do.

When we are unconscious we cannot sin even if in our sleep we think we are sinning.
