Should we kneel until the deacon is seated?

After the congregation have all received the Eucharist…and are all kneeling …the priest then sits down…then the congregation sits down as well…the deacon at our church is usually the last seated…even after the Altar servers… as he is finishing up after the mass…my question is…as Deacons are ordained ministers should it be out of respect for the office that the congregation should remain kneeling until he is seated… is there any such stipulation either for or against that …

Once the communion procession begins the members of the congregation are free to sit or kneel until the closing prayer. There is no norm requiring the congregation to remain kneeling until the priest or deacon is seated.
