My daughter is getting married and doesn’t want to go to Catholic Church to do so.
She probably will do a destination marriage.
My husband doesn’t want to walk her down to the JP or whoever cause he feels that Christ or the church is not part of her wedding. Of course we are both hurt. He states he can’t give her away in marriage cause it would damage his soul. That he isn’t giving her away at the altar.
Please advise

The following links should assist you in understanding the Catholic Church’s teaching on whether you are permitted to attend (under the strain of mortal sin) regarding your daughter’s non-Catholic ceremony.
