My paternal grandmother has admitted that she has gone to witches to do black magic and all that kind of stuff against my mother and aunts to get her sons back because according to her they belong to her and she also says doesn’t care if she condemns her herself to hell.
For years, we have experienced many “paranormal” things happening in our home. My dad acts like a different person at times and a person with a “spiritual gift” told my mother that my father needs an exorcism. Also, my cousin who has the gift of seeing people who have passed away knows a lady that told my mother to ttake baths with many herbs and cinnamon so that any witchcraft done against my mom wont have any eeffect on her. This lady has an image of the virgin in her home and no apparent signs of any black magic. She also says that as my mom poured the herb mix she should pray a holy father and to do this for nine days.
PS we also have not been able to get jobs at all and according to this lady who has the visions and suggested the herbal baths, all the witchcraft my grandmother does is so that out doors close and we wont have jobs and lack money and health.
The lady says I should take the bath as well. I don’t know what to do because it all seems against teachings of the church

Dear friend,

Stick with the Church and have nothing to do with herbal baths, etc. and have nothing to do with that woman. I suggest that you read the book: “Demons, Deliverance and Discernment” by Fr. Mike Driscoll. You can obtain it through shopcatholic.com.

You are in our prayers.

Fr. Vincent Serpa, O.P.
