Should you receive Communion if you are angry with God?

If you’re angry with God over a personal matter, is it all right if you continue to receive Communion regularly?

Assuming that person is a Catholic who is otherwise in a state of grace, receiving Communion under such a condition might open that person to the grace to overcome his or her anger with God. The sacraments are not intended to be gold stars to reward the worthy, but means of healing and reconciliation for those striving to grow in sanctity. Someone who is angry with God but is open to remaining in relationship (i.e., “communion”) with him should be approaching the sacraments of confession and the Eucharist more frequently, not less.
