What do you think about an 11-year-old and 14-year-old watching the Super Bowl? I just watched one of the commercials and it bordered on pornography. Do boys have to watch these games to be normal?
No one has to watch football games to be “normal,” but those who enjoy football usually want to watch the game that ends the professional football season. If a parent decides that the commercials are inappropriate for his children, I recommend either flipping the channel or turning off the television during the commercials. Or, if you can avoid news coverage of the final outcome, you might record the game and zip through the commercials when you watch it later.
