Shouldn't the term "LGBT" be considered a discriminatory term?

LGBT places the L first which is like saying that lesbians are superior to the rest.

Then gays are better than bi-sexuals…who are therefore better than those who are transgendered…ugh, sounds like sexual ranking to me and therefore it must violate SOME civil right…right??? :>D

Shame on you all for not using the full inclusive, PC, sensitive and non-discriminatory acronym: **LGBTTQQIIAA **

NO WAY! There are twice as many T’s, Q’s, I’s, and A’s, as L’s, G’s, and B’s. It ain’t right.

One of the letters has to come first. Besides, people might get confused if “BLT” were in that order, like it was some sort of sandwich.

I keep wondering how many letters will be added. . . being 100% “inclusive” is starting to get ridiculous. 🤷

It is worse. The entire LGBTyaddayadda agenda is discriminatory. They want to hurt Christians and take away their religious freedom.

Are animals and plants represented? They are beings too, and must not be denigrated!

I always think of LGB Trains
Such a statement is potentially defamatory toward trains, those who ride in trains, those who work on trains, and middle aged men who spend excessive amounts of time tinkering with model trains (and making those cute little villages and railroad crossings and little farms, etc.)

Does “two-spirit” claim one of the Ts? Oi! How many letters is this going to be?

If they rearranged it like GBLT then it would sound like a sandwich.

LGBTWTHOMG[osh]BBQ?

Frankly, I find it quite amusing. They just keep adding and adding and adding, soon there won’t be any letters left.

no they’ll just repeat letters until it creates a brand new word.

It isn’t discriminating.

Just like the Catholic religion, where women and men are “different” but one is not considered or represented as “better” than the other…and men are priests and women are nuns but neither is considered superior, just unique for each gender…the term LGBT merely lists the “different” categories…and, like the church, is not discriminating against either one of them even though one letter is before another in the initial line-up.

One more example: If a woman gets married and adds her name to her husband’s, but puts his first, it does not mean his name is superior, right? So, the order of the words/letters do not matter.

But you all know this.
Why make fun of these people who are different than you? Even joking that animals should be on the list?

It is not kind.
But you already know how disparate the definition of kindness is, depending where one is on the issue of same sex ‘marriage’ and associated claims of gay rights like the unfettered right to adopt kids.

It is is not kind that children are taught that homosexual expression is normal and healthy. It is not kind that children are placed in same sex parent homes for adoption.

Not condoning ridicule of people. But think about this: when activists and agitators call Catholics and people with such views bigoted and ‘homophobic’ undeservedly, even if there is no desire to see homosexual acts (re)criminalized and homosexuals economically and socially disadvantaged, they are not even joking, they are serious.

If I said that I wouldn’t be joking. It’s bound to get there down the “gay marriage” line at some point.
