Someday, I’ll stumble headlong into the 20th Century, just in time for the 21st. But I fear change.
 
Wow, absolutely beautiful.

Now wouldn’t that be a grand vacation. Travel the US and visit all the wonderful churches!

Then we go ‘across the pond’ and see what they got over there 😉

What a nice church. I would show you a picture of mine, but we dont’ have a website.
 
That picture brought back memories of St. Peters in Columbia where I grew up. Beautiful marble altar with high relief carving of the last supper under the center, two side altars, beautiful statues of Joseph and Mary, etc. But, alas, that was before they went modern and, in my opinion, took away much of the beauty of the church. My current parish is in a new building, pretty in its own way, but very plain by comparison. Those beautiful churches are one part of the “good old days” that I would like to see brought back.
 
Most veterans of these Forums know that the posting of pictures - especially repeated posting of the same pictures over and over - is a no-no.
