I saw futureKC123 posted a thread about his icon corner, so I made this thread so that we can all post pictures of our icon corners. Here is mine . I have a giant icon print of Christ Pantocrator that will be put here when I buy a frame for it.
 
Well, I would, but I am concerned about copyright, so I just link to my favorite icon that I have:o
Anyway, I like your corner. Mine has a Latin Crucifix too.
 
I’m in the process of adding a few new icons to my icon corner. Once that is done (unfortunately it will take about 3 more weeks), I’ll take a pic and post (provided this thread is still active).

CatholicLife - is the one on the far right St. Charbel? It’s hard to tell from the pic. Either way…👍

I’m sorry for the horrible picture:D I took the picture with my iPod because I don’t know where my camera is . The Saint on the icon you mention is Saint Parascheva of the Balkans . Her relics attract a great number of people every year on her feast day .

Thanks! I’ve never heard of her. I’ll have to read up a bit on her.
 
Just thought I’d contribute to this thread before it died entirely. 😛

This is how I have it temporarily set up. I intend to re-organize it quite a bit, but I thought some of you might appreciate seeing it either way.

Where dId you get that icon of The Theotokos on the far left ?
 
I like your icon corner. I am not really computer saavy so I’ll just tell you about my icon corner or maybe I can download the pictures of the items:

By the way, I like your crucifix with the Rosary beads over it. I don’t have a Crucifix yet, but I do have a cross and I placed Rosary beads over it so people who came into my house would know that I am a Catholic and not a Protestant.

I do not have a icon corner as yet, but I’m slowly buying stuff. So far I have a wall Crucifix, small statue of the Virgin Mary, about 4 sets of Rosary beads. I also have a Brown Scapular(don’t know how to wear it). As anyone got any more ideas on what I should get? 🙂

You should get two icons, one of Mary and one of Christ, and set Mary left of the crucifix and Christ to the right. Pretty standard for most icon corners. 😛

An icon of your patron saint is always a good idea as well.

Well, if you’re a cradle (born & raised) Catholic, were you named after a saint? If not and are a convert, did you take a saint’s name upon baptism? If yes to either, then that saint would probably be your patron saint.

If not, then I’m not sure… :confused: Maybe someone more familiar with Catholic practice on this could help you.
 
I’m a cradle Catholic. I was baptised and had my first Holy Communion. Not sure if I was named after a saint or if my mother just liked the name. She was into French names. I will just take it that I was named after St Colette 🙂 Ooops! that’s if there is a St Colette:shrug:
