Novus Ordo with Latin prayers and Gregorian chant, but it’s a wonderful start. Father Peter Mangum, rector of St. John Berchmans Catherdral will preside over it. He’s a wonderfully devout priest who formerly was pastor of my parish.
Hmmm, I wonder if the retirement of the bishop and appointment of a Sicilian-American monsignor as diocesan administrator had anything to do with this?
Sadly, I’m going to miss this first mass b/c I’ll be helping with mystigogy.
