What do you think of M. Night Shyamalan’s movies? He is planning to start production on another movie, “Lady in the Water,” and he wants to film it in my neighborhood: Bristol Township, PA.

I like his movies. Some were better than others, but on a whole the last 4 movies were entertaining.

I love his movies. Your right he hasn’t always hit the nail squarely on the head. But, his movies are always entertaining.

Every other movie he does is amazing. I am big fan of all his movies. I really like every bit of every movie except for “The Village” which was spoiled by the ending. “Unbreakable” was original and that is unknown for movies these days.

The Six Sense and Signs were near masterpieces in my mind.

I loved “Signs.” What a wonderful exposition on Divine Providence!

The Sixth Sense had me looking over my shoulder for weeks! 😛

Signs was a great movie. I went to see it on a date with my then boyfriend, now husband, just 'cause he wanted to. I ended up really liking it. My best friend was really creeped out by it. 🙂

I think those are the only ones of his that I’ve seen.

I liked Unbreakable but for the most part, I like to sleep without the lights on!!!

Did you know that in his movies, he shows up as some kind of doctor because that’s what his mom wanted him to be when he grew up.

I just can’t get over how he creates his films…especially the scarier ones (Signs, Sixth Sense). They are subtle, not like those gory thrillers nowadays but his films are so scary!!! I can’t wait to know more of his new project. I think he is a brilliant director.

I liked the Sixth Sence. Signs was a bit too weird for me. The Village was horrible.

I Liked the Sixth Sense and Signs. He is very inventive and puts an interesting spin on his movies. I know many people who like The Village but I was disappointed. Spoiler alert!!! **Do not read the following comments if you have not yet seen the movie THe VILLAGE!!! **The movie made me mad at the parents who were playing God with their children and putting them in danger. Yeah, yeah…in the movie the parents were trying to protect their kids from crime but they also were willing to consider forgoing modern medical care to protect their self created world. But even in this movie, I have to give him credit, The Village was unusual and unpredictable.

As far as Signs go, I believe he made the movie by re-telling the story of the War of the Worlds from another perspective.

Unbreakable was the belief there are super-heros among us.

The Village, was somewhat original; however, I guessed the secret from the opening shot. He never gave a date for the place.

His only truly original movie, was Six Sense.

I never saw his other movies.

Just my thoughts.

I love, love, love his movies. His characters are so likable. The casting is phenomenal. I think Bruce Willis was made for the part of the doctor in The Sixth Sense and the same with Mel Gibson in Signs. The subtlety and simplicity of the stories are beautiful, refreshing and welcoming in the midst of today’s “in-your-face”, fast-paced, too much action, blood and gore (e.g. the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I hated that movie with a passion).

The Sixth Sense is my favorite with Signs a close second.

I very much liked the three films, which I’ve heard described as a trilogy about death: Wide Awake, The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable. (Never stayed awake through Signs, nor have I seen The Village)

No one else has mention Wide Awake yet – It was only his second film, and before he hit it big. I think it was in theatres for about a week when first run. But it is a real charmer, PG rated, and well worth the rental.

I give Shyamalan 👍
