I’m sick and tired of sin, of continuing to fall into sin and disobeying God’s Laws. I want to stop, but I know I’ll continue, whether its tomorrow or sometime in the future. I’m not worried about the future or blaming God for anything, I’m just tired of myself keeping on sinning, I’m blaming myself for all the sins I’ve committed. And why? Why do I sin? I hate it! I’m just tired of sin!

Go to confession to seek God’s forgiveness. Every one should fear the Lord and our future and perhaps that would help keep us away from sin.👍

That’s how St Francis of Assisi felt, in fact he ruined his eyesight in the end, by all his tears over his ‘sins’, such as they may have been. And to read some of St Padre Pio’s letters to his Spiritual Director you’d think he was a fearful sinner…like them, you can be grateful for awareness of sinful tendencies, and continue to try with God’s grace! You have the grace of desiring not to sin. Blessed be God for that!

Good first step to admit a hatred for sin. Thank the Lord for giving us a way to reconcile our souls to Him through Confession.
Use this gift often and be truely contrite. You’re on the right path and I’ll pray that your journey continues.
