Dear Prayer Warriors,

Please pray for my husband, hospitalized with lung cancer, pneumonitis and possible hear failure. He has had sacrament of sick but is very frightened and short of breath. His name is Steve. A good man under terrible burden of illness. We both need all the prayer we can get. Thanks and God bless you all!😦
 
Father, your Son accepted our suffereings to teach us the virture of patience in human illness. Hear the prayers of our sck brothers and sisters. May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realise that they are chosen to be siants, and know that they are joined to Christ in His suffering for the salvation of the world.

Lord Jesus, in times of trial and temptation, be my strength and consolation. Teach me not to fear the darkness, but rather draw me to your light. For it can only be in darkness that you will become my light and in your light that I may bring the light of healing love to al I meet.

Remember, O most loving virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we fly unto you, O virgin of virgins, our mother. To you we come, before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O mother of the Word incarnate, despise not our petition, butin your mercy hear and answer me.

Glorious Archangel St. Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners.
I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the “medicine of God” I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favor (here mention your special intention), and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

For Steve:
Healing God, give strength and courage to Steve as he endures the suffering and pain of his illness.
Take from his heart all painful anxiety.
Help him to place himself in the arms of your loving providence, trusting in your compassionate and tender love.
Blessed Mary and all the saints, gather round us as we pray for Steve. May we reach out to him with compassion and support, bringing him comfort.
Through your intercession may we all look forward to being united with you in God’s presence.
Amen.

Praying to St. Peregrine for Steve’s health & recovery.
 
May Steve’s guardian angel stand guard and protect him at this time. We pray also for this family as they sit with Steve and all those who care for him. Bring a sense of peace and hope in You, Amen.

Lord, please pour Your blessings upon Steve and take away his fear. Please give him comfort and peace. Please let him know that Your love is always with him and with those he loves. Amen.

Thanks for all. Steve woke up about midnight and felt completely different. Praise Jesus! Conference with doctor tomorrow. Will keep all posted. Thanks and God bless our wonderful prayer warriors.
