I don’t think that happens very often at all on there, and it has to do with the communication dynamic.=lapislazuli;11364343]I think even for very famous people the ability to communicate effectively is really limited. I’ve found on FB and the internet people state their opinions and it seems rare anyone really convinces anyone else to change their mind. It is also easy to get angry about politics.
People rarely ask for genuine advice on facebook, and when you start arguing about politics and religion (and this probably happens on here too, BTW), people won’t even read to understand and just start writing what they think is right.
There was even a movement on facebook (maybe there still is) where people join groups they don’t agree with just to argue—or they were so convinced they were right about anything and everything that they are some kind of great messenger.
To give you a little background on facebook, it used to be just for college students. Frankly, the problems started (or perhaps escalated) when it become open to the rest of the planet like its competitor myspace. But, that’s what a company will do to run a business. Hard to fault that.
I suspect a lot of famous people (the ones who are maybe a bit more business savvy) have staff running their facebook sites. A lot of angry people will rant and rave. Some will even say “IF you’re reading this then…” which I guess is some kind of internal consolation in case they don’t, which I suspect happens in nearly every case.
