Depends on one’s definition of “freedom” As an analogy a train is free only when it is on the track. If it derails it is not free to do as it ought to do. Same way with people. True freedom is not license to do what one wants. but rather free to do what we ought.
So, like, freedom to be a Catholic and not an unbeliever or a Jew?

Nobody has bought me a Hyundai Sonata either. Could you also petition your representatives to end the war on Glenn Lego AND Bill Martin? (I’d like a dark blue one please.)😃 Anyone out there angry because nobody has bought them a Mercedes Benz yet?
I would be happy if someone would just pay off my Buick. 🙂

never said that! Never meant that either. There are certain natural laws that apply to anyone regardless. For example, try jumping off a tall building and see if the law of gravity applies to you or not!🤷

So do I have the right to be an atheist?

This thread is not talking about anyone’s right to be Atheist, Baptist, Catholic,Jew, Muslim or any other religion. It is talking about the so-called “War On Women” which is really a war on men. Making men out to be lazy, clueless, philanderers, abusive, you name it, courtesy of ultra-feminist “women” who are out to elevate themselves by pushing men down and depriving men of their dignity as human beings. As to whether you have the “right” to your beliefs in religion or not is a subject better taken up in another thread. (BTW I don’t hate you because of your atheism. You are welcome to believe or not believe whatever you choose. I’m not the JUDGE. I just happen to believe in the One who is. Also I am not out to convert anyone. In fact, I can’t even convert MYSELF!)🙂 Blessings!

Sure, just like I have the right to believe that gravity doesn’t exist. If I believe that there is no such thing as gravity, that belief won’t prevent gravity from acting upon me when I jump
off a tall building. So your belief that there is no God won’t change the fact of God’s existence.

I do not believe there is no god(s). I just see no reason to believe that the existence of god(s) best explains anything of which I am aware. You believe. I do not believe. I try only to conclude on the basis of observation. Nothing I see or experience requires god(s) to explain it. That is why I think there is gravity, but I think it unnecessary to wonder if there is a god(s). I experience gravity. I do not experience god(s). I agree that if there is a god(s) that my conclusions will not alter that fact; just as your believe will not cause god(s) to exist.
