Toronto was interesting. We were only there for a day, though. We went downtown, and went to the CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame, the lakefront, etc. We had lunch at Marche. Thank you for the all the recommendations.
Honestly though, I wasn’t too impressed by Toronto. It’s just like any other big city, nor was it particularly scenic. The traffic was terrible and things were expensive. Granted we went to all the touristy places, but everything seemed to be commercialized. I did like the roads in Ontario; compared to interstates in the US, the road surfaces were superb, despite the cold winters. The people in Toronto were nice for the most part. But at this hotdog stand, the owner let this regular cut in line in front of me, but I guess that happens in most places, though it still pissed me off a little.
Overall, I think Toronto is a one-time experience for me. Now Niagara Falls, that was pretty amazing.
