Signs or Dreams

Does God give us signs throughout the day, or at least when we really need His help with something? And, with dreams, do you think God speaks to us in some of them? I’ve been having lots of dreams that I remember lately and I’m just curious if they mean anything.

Dreams are simply the unconcious mind working things out.

Being lucid makes them not more or less likely to be the voice of God.

That being said, God works in may ways. If you dream very vividly for several days of working in a soup kitchen, God could very well be prompting you (through an subtle method of using your dreams). If it’s more complicated than that, and it is truly bothering you, it is best to seek either religious or mental health services.

Why not ask the priest at your church, maybe he can give you guidance in what to take the dreams as.

Yes.A moral person is able to discern when he is confronted with a potentially harmful situation(a moral decision which may be sinful or is sinful)and he knows he needs God’s help in making the right decision.I don’t know about myself personally but a believer in the OT i read of various people who were able to interpret dreams and had a significant meaning.I don’t doubt that God still works messages to man through dreams in some cases.

If the first He may want to tell you something.
If it is the second, just pray for them.

I didn’t have either, but i had a dream last night of me telling a girl who was crying.upset to pray to God, and she shook her head no. than i got really sad when she shook her head no, and i begged her to talk to me (in hopes i could change her mind), and i told her i was going into counseling/social work. I might start my master’s program in counseling if i don’t find a job/career in a helping field, so i thought maybe that was a sign not sure.
