According to Catholic teaching, the Church will dwindle to a mere fraction of her former numbers and there will be a mass conversion of Jews to Christianity.

“Wrath of God: The Days of the Anti-Christ” by Livio Fanzaga gives a good description of how the anti-christ may appear. Although it is just an opinion, it looks very much like modern society.
