Sin and evil in N. T.?

I know this is extremely basic or fundamental.

I should know this but I do not.

What is the difference between sin and evil in the N. T.?

Theologically, I thought evil was doing something bad or not good.

Theologically, I thought sin was doing something evil knowingly and willingly.

When I look at the Greek, I am not sure how to understand the Bible in the N. T.
