Not sure of what you are getting at…
Sometimes sins we commit can have consequences that - when we see them cause us to recoil in horror. At such times a person might recognize their need for God, drop to their knees and be converted.
This would indeed be a radical conversion stemming from a recognition of some grave sin that the person has committed or is committing.
