Do you think its safe to say that there is not a human being on this earth that hasen’t sined at least once?
since the Virgin Mary is now in heaven, I would say, you are correct amend that to say, at least as far as people who are beyond the age of reason and who have the capacity to make informed moral choices, which would exclude babies and very young children, and those whose mental state renders them incapable of freely willing to sinDo you think its safe to say that there is not a human being on this earth that hasen’t sined at least once?
Of course Christ and the Blessed Virgin did not sin. Everyone else probably has. The main thing would be if they know it to be a sin. If they know it to be a sin then they have sinned. If they do not know (not do not believe) it is a sin then they have not. It is hard to think that there may be people who do not know when they do something wrong whether or not they call it a sin. Remember even the rocks and trees cry out for the sins of this world.Do you think its safe to say that there is not a human being on this earth that hasen’t sined at least once?
Some would include Saint John the Baptist, but I don’t think there is any official teaching on this.Scripture and Tradition are quite clear.
Romans 3 says “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”
As usual, the context is important. The audience is people St. Paul is preaching to, which is the rest of humanity, not Christ himself or his Blessed Mother.
