I try and realise the 7 deadly sins. Wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, gluttony. My nature if it is inclined to be greedy then my actions and behaviour can be very sinful while I try and satisfy my demands for revenge, anger, comfort, security, property, money, prestige, sex etc. I step over my fellows and they sometimes retaliate and it works like that for much of the other ones lust is particular to me so is gluttony. Anybody else feel the same about sin that it arises out of ourselves? I’m the type of guy that believes sex before your ready is a sin that you can be really punished by emotions later but as far as it being really bad like hell bad I don’t buy into that but I firmly believe that human nature is inheritly inclined towards sin. And I’m more concerned about the sin that is truly against the will of God not religion or the bible. This might confuse some and for some it will make perfect sense.
Another example of this would be gluttony, sloth and envy. Jesus told me not to worry about where my food, dress and shelter will come from that God’s will, will provide yet like everyone else I chase after these things sometimes to excess and extremes and feel even emptier inside than before I began so I believe these sins of Gluttony sloth and envy are very real and very contradictory to God’s Will. How can I claim to have faith when my behaviour is inclined towards evil? It says also in the book of James that Faith without works is dead, so should my mission be to seek and do God’s will in all my affairs? I seem to think so but am concerned about what is a real sin besides the ones I listed?
