Sinful Dreaming

Hello again,

Last night I had a strange dream. Waking up from it left me very conflicted.
I cannot recall specific details but I do remember a woman in the dream. I recall her being naked at one point and although I don’t recall any intercourse taking place I can be sure that it was an intimate dream.
My wife was present at one point although she was not the afore mentioned woman.

I feel dirty. Should I confess this?

Hopefully this thread isn’t out of line.

I should also mention that I’m currently prescribed Chantix and vivid dreams are a side effect.

Dreams are out of your control. Don’t even worry about them.
 
As far as I know ,and to quote the famous philosopher “all I know is that I know nothing”, dreams cannot be sinful unless we encourage a lustful dream or encourage lustful memories from that dream.
 
Like the other posters said, a sin needs full willingness to do something known to be wrong, there can’t be any willingness in subconscious dreams, rest easy.

Sin must involve consent. Dreams mean one is asleep so there can logically be no consent ergo no sin.
