Sinful or Just a game?

I play a online game called Runescape,very midevil and nerdy . Anyway to the point, they added a new feature in the game where you can gain some things in the game for erecting a idol for one of the 3 fictional gods in it. I don’t know if this would be considered idolatry as I am not worshipping it.

It is just a game (fiction), and not a reflection of your true beliefs. Even if your character were to worship the gods, you are not worshiping them.

I play this game as well.

As long as your inclination is not to actually worship these gods, there is no sin. However, if you still feel uncomfortable, just steer clear of the event as it is wholly your choice as to whether you participate in it or not; you don’t really lose anything in avoiding it.
