Sinful to vest as a priest at home?

What do you mean? The consensus is basically that you shouldn’t be dressing in priestly vestments and acting out Mass. So what pieces are there to put together? You’ve more or less gotten one answer.
Perhaps he’s referring to some people saying he should also donate the old vestments so they could be repurposed?

I commented that because they already talked about the question he asked. He already knows what the others think about the topic. Now is just people questioning his “thanks” message

I don’t think I questioned his thanks. I don’t think anyone did. I followed up because “I will follow pieces of everyone’s advice” might mean being selective about it. If that means skipping over the part about not wearing vestments in private, then I think it’s important to ask what is meant by that.

It really is getting tiresome to constantly explain my motivations on here. People used to assume the best…

Bless you, Father. You truly are trying to be helpful. Some folks have trouble taking sincere help at face value.

I will defer to the good Father on what is best. That said, I am excited to hear when young people see our priests as people the aspire to be. Whether such a one as the OP becomes a priest or not, such testimony to the desire to serve God and make the sacrifice of oneself is great to read. May God bless the OP as he moves through these next few years.

Thank you all again for your replies.

I apologize for the confusion! When I said I would incorporate all suggestions I meant I would stop vesting as a priest and ALSO look into volunteer work and more closely observe the nitty gritty work of this potentional vocation.

God Bless you all! Lets all remember to be a little more charitable to others online. I do apologize for me causing the confusion but lets give people like Father who takes time out of his busy day to educate the faithful the benefit of the doubt more often.
