I think that it does get into “splitting hairs,” after awhile.
I have my digital piano at home, and that is where I kind of “let loose” now and have fun.
I just play for fun now, and I no longer volunteer. I stopped when my illnesses became too much, and when family care-giving took over, but thanks for your kind thoughts!
I know that you’re a blessing to your parish too, and I agree with what you say when you contribute to posts like these, having experienced what you do, having been in Music Ministry for a long time, too.
