Hey guys!!
I can see how people would feel about the single life not being a vocation. Although, I have always seen it as a vocation as well as the married life is a vocation. There are some things I can do that a married couple can’t and vice versa!!
I do admire a Christ centered marriage though. I wish there were more marriages that were Christ centered. When you have two people that are putting Jesus first in their lives and putting their spouse second, that is extremely powerful!!
I think Jesus gives us graces to live in the way he calls us, whether single or married. There are definitely certain patiences I would have as a single person that a married person would not and there are certain patiences a married person would have that I would not.
What matters most in the long run is living according to Jesus’s will and call for your particular station in life.
