Are these bracelets to pray just one decade or could you pray a whole rosary with it?.

Thank you.

It could be for a single decade:
**The one decade rosary is, as it sounds, a rosary consisting of only one decade. **The idea behind the one decade rosary is that it is easy to carry around and use for prayer. After the crucifix on a one decade rosary, the initial 5 beads (for saying the Our Father, 3 Hail Marys and a Glory Be) are commonly represented with only one bead. After the rosary center is one decade, one set of ten beads. Some chaplet instructions come with a one decade rosary, and you can also use a one decade rosary to pray five, or even the full 20 mysteries, by circling around and using the ten beads to count for as many decades as needed.
This is the source for the quote from a Catholic website about different types of rosaries and their uses: aquinasandmore.com/catholic-articles/what-are-the-different-types-of-rosaries/article/131/sort/relevance/productsperpage/12/layout/grid/currentpage/1/keywords/rosary

One is not limited by the type of rosary.
It’s simply a counting aide.

I make these and some other kinds of single decade rosaries. They are handy! My wooden ones get taken into chemo sessions and they say it helps .

Its just a counting tool - just go around multiple times! I’ve made several with materials from a local craft store. I like them because they don’t break as easily as a full sized rosary.

You are even allowed to make up your own rosary prayer O.o

I do 1 dec on a full rosary O.o

I might do 5 on a 1 dec rosary just because I like being contrary

Any person with ten fingers has a handy single decade rosary. Just saying…

Yes, and that’s what they used to do before rosaries (or so I read today). Then they used prayer ropes in monasticism, and that eventually evolved into the rosary.

There is also Irish Penal Rosary which is a 1 decade rosary which is a straight line of 10 beads with a cross at one end and a ring or medal on the other like this. This was often used in Ireland during religious oppression (1691-1779). This is when Protestants controlled English Parliament and passed laws prohibiting Catholicism greatly effecting Ireland which was mostly Catholic. This may sound strange now, but attending the Mass or praying the Rosary was frequently punished by death or long prison. This period was dubbed “Penal Times” and brought about the “Penal Rosary” which due to its size was easily concealed so that the faithful could pray without being noticed.
