O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen **

I would like to make a prayer request for myself and my adult children. I have been fighting a terminal form of cancer for four years and we are getting to the end stages. After years of chemotherapy, none have proven to be successful and I am currently under hospice care. I am 48 years old, and have a 24 year old son; a married 23 year old daughter, and an 18 year old daughter. My son-in-law is 21. All except my son are still living with me, and I am finding it difficult to support them as they are finding it difficult to find decent jobs.

I also wish for prayers for my parents. This is a very difficult time for them.

I wish for prayers for wisdom, faith, hope, and love and trust in God’s perfect will. Please pray for me for the strength to carry on. May your will be done, Heavenly Father.
