Single or double knee genuflection during Exposition?

Is it proper to genuflect/kneel on both knees when the Blessed Sacrament is Exposed as in Eucharistic Adoration? When I enter a pew or leave I have always genuflected on both knees but no one else seems to do that.

Genuflection with one knee is the prescribed sign of reverence for the Eucharist whether exposed or in the tabernacle.

1. Genuflection in the presence of the blessed sacrament, whether reserved in the tabernacle or exposed for public adoration, is on one knee.

Its highly unlikely that someone is going to be stopped for performing the double genuflection as a sign of respect. Also, a country’s bishop’s conference may prescribe the double genuflection. The USA is not one of those countries, however.
