I have a question and could use some guidance. Particularly from any of the priests. What if a person commits some kind of sin (something along the lines of lying to an employer say, or missing Mass or intentionally eating meat on Good Friday, etc.) and just kind of brushes it off at the time thinking, “oh I’ll just confess it next week.” How can a person be truly sorry, or make themselves (or can they even make themselves?) truly repentant in order to receive absolution under such circumstances?
Thanks in advance…
