How do we know when listening to songs they would be supported by our beloved RCC.

Any sin in enjoying songs that I suspect are protestant based…

If it is The Message which is 63 on XM, the program director is Catholic I believe and Kayla who is the DJ for the Message Amped is also Catholic. They are both featured often on the Catholic Channel. I come from a Methodist contemporary Christian music background and as a Catholic I still love listening to contemporary Christian music. It strengthens my faith. I listen to Catholic radio for information but I still love my music! While rare, there are occasional Catholic artists in contempory Christian music. Matt Maher is one and he also writes many songs sung by Chris Tomlin. Just my thoughts.

Blessings,

Val

Thanks I turned into the channel and heard Song, “our God” by Chris Tomlin which we sing during mass.
