Sis is sick and we don't know why

she is having painful spasms that make her vomit. she had the dye test and ct scan but it was fine (thank god). She’s being referred to a gastroenterologist and hopefully will be seen soon. It’s bad timing since she’s moving and all, lots on her plate.

Please pray for relief of her pain and they find what is causing it, and that it’s not serious. I’m 5,000 miles away and feel bad I’m not there for her.

Prayer for the Sick

Dear Jesus, Divine Physician and Healer of the sick, we turn to you in this time of illness. O dearest comforter of the troubled, alleviate our worry and sorrow with your gentle love, and grant us the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, we place our worries in your hands. We place our sick under your care and humbly ask that you restore your servant to health again. Above all, grant us the grace to acknowledge your will and know that whatever you do, you do for the love of us. Amen.

Praying that your sis will be properly diagnosed, receive treatment if needed and in any event fully recover.

Praying that she has a safe and uneventful move.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal katpants’s Sister. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into katpants’s Sister’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Father of goodness and love, hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need. Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence. Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free downcast spirits. May these special people find lasting health and deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts. We ask this through the Lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen.
