" Coincidentally, on the morning after Sister Deirdre’s speech, a post on The Catholic Thing featured a photo of another woman religious. I’ll let the photo caption speak for itself:
Image: St. Donato Parish School: First Grade, 1949 [Philadelphia Archdiocesan Historical Research Center]. Mother Gennara, M.S.C, who taught at St. Donato’s for thirty years, is pictured with her ninety-two first-graders. The school’s dedication in 1914 had been attended by Mother Cabrini, founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart and the first U.S. citizen to be canonized (1946)."

Sr. Dede is obviously a very holy person and an unconditionally prolife advocate, but we know that the false prophet will come and fool even the most holy people. I’m not calling Trump the antichrist but there is something behind all this lawlessness and strife and unrealistic promises that stirs the spirit. Something is not right and the devotion to what Trump is allowing to come into society is not right. I personally cannot see what she sees in the ideology that supports Trump.

In her 4 minute talk, Sister Deirdre advocated for unborn children. She stated that Pres. Trump has been the most pro-life president in U.S. history. Obviously she was not going to be invited to speak at the Democratic Convention which has the most pro-abortion candidates in U.S. history.

Why is Trump believed to be the most “pro-life president in US history”?

I remember voting for Jimmy Carter, thinking that an evangelical Christian was a safe bet. A few years later I was reading about some state abortion regulations which had been overturned by district court judges. I was astonished to learn that the judges doing this were Carter appointees. It’s not just about SCOTUS. That’s when I stopped voting Democrat. Abortion was too firmly entrenched in the party.
