This is a copy of the page following the title page, on the PDF version that I found online. It has a Nihil obstat and an Imprimatur from 1948. My SIL had this book, and read it to the point of highlighting, underlining and writing all kinds of notes in the margin that praised many things that she found to be particularly ‘beautiful’ or ‘inspiring’ to her. We all used to lovingly refer to her as “St. Celine”, so I tend to think she knew what she was talking about.

Baronius Press put out a nice edition– I got my Knox Bible from them. They seem to be pretty reliable, and I like their work. On the page, it confirms that:
