Can anyone please tell me how old you have to be to look into this Convent?

I am a freshman in College, and the more I pray, then the more I feel that God is calling me for a vocation to the Religious Life.

When I came across this page, I got tears in my eyes, tears of joy that God might be calling me to this Convent.

I tried contacting them last week, but they didn’t get back to me yet, and from the looks of this link: srspreciousbloodnh.org/Vocations/DiscernmentInquiry/tabid/96/Default.aspx , it seems like they are looking for women that have graduated college…

I guess I need to be more patient, but I would love to be able to look into Convents now…

By all means, look at convents now. You’ve felt spiritual joy at finding this convent, now take a look at others to see–and feel–how they look.

I know Manchester takes older vocations. If anyone has weight problems, they need to consider that Manchester doesn’t have elevators.

One of the sisters was featured in the local newspaper’s magazine. They are the only PB convent that still wears the red Precious Blood belt and pendant – at least in the US. This order was also the first indigenous cloister to be founded in the New World.

Are you able to look at convents locally first?

Blessings,
Cloisters

I filled out the vocations form for them, and one of the Sisters contacted me when I wasn’t able to take the call. I am still praying to be guided by the Holy Spirit everyday in Mass and/or Adoration.
I am currently looking into three convents:
  1. Sisters of the Servants of the Pierced Heart of Jesus and Mary…These Sisters are at our Newman Center here.
  2. Sisters Adorers of the Precious Blood
  3. Saint Cyril and Metodej (in Czech Republic, Europe).

Does the Brooklyn Monastery still have Nuns living there? I cannot find any way to contact them, if indeed they are still there…Does anyone know anything about that particular Monastery? It used to have many Nuns & their Chapel was frequented by loads of people from round the whole NYC area…
