Thanks for posting this link. My daughter did a semester in Rome and Lev was her professor. My daughter said she was a great speaker and classes were held all over Rome viewing works of art. I will have to check it out! 🙂

I could only dream of something so wonderful! Your daughter is very fortunate that she was given such a rich opportunity.

One of my favorite classes in undergrad was Art History. I often tease my family saying that someday everyone will be looking for me and I will be in Italy…studying art and drinking sulfite-free wine. And I will be gone for months…😉

It was a once in a lifetime experience for her. Tuition etc were the same as if she went to her college because it was through her college. We needed to pay for airfare, some meals and spending money. While there, she also was able to take weekend trips and went to Dublin, Madrid, London and Paris. She became very skilled at finding the best and most inexpensive ways of traveling. She now has a love for travel.

My son’s college offered the same program but he didn’t go, despite our encouragement.

I did a similar program in Madrid and the artwork was beautiful, but nothing like this.

Good for her - seeing other parts of the world really changes one’s perspective. I wish I would have done more while young. It’s impossible now.

that was very interesting. thanks for posting.

I took an art history course when I lived in Madrid. I loved it.

Watching this certainly made me want to visit the Sistine Chapel.
