Loving God,

We lift our continuing prayers and intentions for the healing and welfare of your son Jim. Please help Jim with this recent concern about a relapse and his vein issues. Lord, we ask for blessings and healing to be with Jim in the face of this recent health challenge, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please bless him and his family as they continue their journey of faith and serve you, O Lord. Thank you also for the good works Jim does with others facing the huge trial and challenge of cancer in their lives. Lord, we especially appreciate the prayerful example that Jim sets for us.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

O Saint Peregrine, you who have been called “The Wonder-Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you, who for so many years bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more: you who were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction, ask of God and Our Lady the cure of Jim. Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing praise to God for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.
 
Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Make haste to help us in all our necessities, that in this fleeting life thou mayest be our succor, and obtain for us the complete healing of Jim from all cancer and disease. Help us to gain life everlasting through the merits of Jesus, Thy Son, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Let us pray… O Almighty and Eternal God who dost see us surrounded by so many dangers and miseries, grant in Thy infinite goodness, that the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Thy Divine Son, may defend us from the evil spirit, and protect us against all adversities; that she may obtain for us the complete healing of Jim from all cancer and disease and safely guide us to the kingdom of heaven; through the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
