*O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. *Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen

UPDATE:

Brothers and sisters, I underwent a stem cell transplant at Fred Hutchinson in Seattle in July 17th, and am currently in semi-seclusion and recovery. All the signs are good. My son’s cells have engrafted in my marrow and are now producing white cells. We are waiting on the red cells and platelets to arrive. I already have his blood type and we are monitoring to see what type and how serious any rejection issues (Graft versus Host Disease) are. So far, so good, but it will be a long road back. It is your prayers that have sustained me - of that I am certain.
