Hi everyone,
I’m a university student from the UK, and i’m making a short student film on peoples reaction to homosexuals. Would anyone on here like to be apart of a Skype interview which will then hopefully be on the film.

We want people with strong opinions (And an okay quality webcam) to do an interview with us.

Any questions, feel free to PM me or post on this thread.

Please get in touch.
Thanks.

Just curious, what do you mean by “peoples reaction to homosexuals”? Do you have a thesis already, and if yes, would you mind sharing what it is?

Folks, I’d stay away from this. Something doesn’t smell right.

My reaction to homosexuals is mostly gasping and scurrying away. Is that what you want to film?

I’m from the University of Central Lancashire, in Preston. Currently in my second year.

By ‘Peoples reactions’ I mean peoples opinions of them. When you see two gay people holding hands on the street or something. How do you feel about them in general?

The interviews consist of gay people telling their stories, which i’ve already filmed. Yet we want the opinions of people who see it wrong from a religious side, and their reasons why as researching on the internet just brings up lots of discussions and arguments.

It makes me sad for them. It makes me wonder how they got the way they are and why they do not care about living the way we were intended…makes me wonder if they were mistreated (abuse, neglect, etc) when they were younger…makes me worry about family structures and misplaced priorities in our world…then it leads me to worry about our society in general.
A society which thinks everything that feels good is okay and says we can’t do anything wrong as long as it makes us happy, because God wants us to be happy, right?
A society that expects God’s word to change simply because it is 2012 and it isn’t cool to say that someone is living wrong.
A society that forces acceptance of perverse cultures, yet rips people to shreds if they express their belief in God or simply disagree with said perverse cultures. (ie Carrie Prejean)
A society where people no longer make their families and children a priority. Instead, it is more important to amass as much wealth as you possible can, because that is where true happiness comes from, right?
A society that believes that everyone should be able to own a flat screen tv, eat t bones and lobster, drive Escalades, etc, regardless of the fact that I, a taxpayer, am the one buying your groceries and putting a roof over your head because you are too lazy to get a job, so you stay home and open your legs for anyone who will impregnate you so you can get a bigger welfare check…
A society that not only accepts, but expects that every teenager will use drugs and have premarital sex with many partners…and they are dorks or weird or uncool if they choose not to engage in destructive behaviors.
A society where gays simply want ‘equality’ (yeah right)…if they really want equality, keep your lifestyle in your bedroom like us heteros do…if you are going to put your lifestyle in my face, expect my nose to be in your business and don’t get offended when I tell you what I think about your choices.

Oh, I could go on for days…

The thing is that such open and blatant homosexuality and the forced acceptance of it is so much more than just that one issue. It is a symptom of the immoral, disgusting, perverse, inappropriate, disrespectful world we live in. I would like to believe that we Christians could turn the world around and make it a better place for our children, but I just can’t…I don’t truly believe there is anything we can do to gain some footing on the slippery slope we are on…and it will never stop until Jesus comes back. I just worry how much worse it can get…

This is the kind of answer I mean. Great response. Would you be willing to do a webcam interview to get your point across?

No, but you could use my words if you would like…🙂

I am in the UK temporarily and am up for an interview if you want. If you want to add me to skype just check my Profile. I can answer questions… I am not a very emotional person so my reaction wouldn’t be so visceral as the previous person.
I personally know a lot of homossexual people and most of them are close friends… but I do maintain my position that “the homossexual lifestyle” is not positive.
If you prefer further details message me.Kind regards,
Daniel
