As I listened to all the ?s on various radio shows after the funeral of Ted Kennedy. It seems rather than ?s there were many statements of moral outrage. Each ?/statement dragging the Cardinal, Bishops, Priests and even the Laiety through the mud was more of what had been oft said over the past hours, days and weeks since the senators death?
Each time I heard one of these statements/?s of indignation, I could hear one of the Sister Mary Holy Cards from 16 years of parochial education talking about the sin of Slander/Calumny/Detraction/Gossip. I’m wondering if dragging up the senators past and the way his funeral was allowed to proceed over & over & over fall somewhere in this range… It got to the point that I turned Catholic Radio off every time this topic arose.? amI too far ro the other direction!
