Travel Activity
Begin by selecting a license plate at random. Using the letters of that license plate, name as many saints as possible that contain at least one of those letters.
The Bishops Gift
They stand in a circle and sing “The Bishop got a gift, a gift the Bishop got”:harp:
That line above is only sung at the start.
They all continue with the following line
The Gift was from ???
The first player uses the letter A, the 2nd B, the 3rd C and so on along the alphabet.
and you go around the circle until a player misses (including a long pause).
These players sit out but help keep track of the answers.
Players fill in the blank with their word.
The word will depend on how you want to play it.
for example. You might make the game about the names of saints,:getholy:
in which case they would sing.
Player 1 The Bishop’s Gift was from Saint Anthony
(followed immediately by player 2 & the next letter)
Player 2 The Bishop’s Gift was from Saint Bartholomew
Player 3 The Bishop’s Gift was from Saint Cecil
Once one misses they drop out and the next player restarts on the next letter
OR
You might make the game about the places in the Bible,[BIBLEDRB][/BIBLEDRB]
in which cast they would sing.
Player 1 The Bishop’s Gift was from Antwerp
(followed immediately by player 2 & the next letter)
Player 2 The Bishop’s Gift was from Bethlehem
Player 3 The Bishop’s Gift was from Cana
Once one misses they drop out and the next player restarts on the next letter
Or you might use people from the bible, or plants and animals from the bible, etc…
